Gregg Elliott, your vice president and webmaster, and Andreas Kottschoth from the PCA Web Page committee worked since early this year to find a new platform the Central Wisconsin web page which had been neglected for years.
If you read this post, you have found the NEW web page. PCA is hosting this web page at no cost to the Region. We are using wordpress as the open-source content management system and the page is SSL certified.
We hope you like what you see (please let us know by posting comments). The page is ‘work in progress’ and will be updated on a regular base, that is a promise.
Andreas Kottschoth will stay on as a consultant and help Gregg to become the best webmaster for the region. Andreas is a member of the Big Island Hawaii Region and has won several PCA web page awards including Best Web Page in PCA in 2018.
Some of you may have met Andreas and his family in 2018 at the CWI Spring Waterfall Tour organized by Laura Prellwitz. Sabine and Andreas are members of the Big Island Hawaii Region, but they reside in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. (8h north of Minneapolis)
The web page will be only as good as the event reports or posts we receive from the membership. The Webmaster can not participate in every event to write a report. So if you have a story or a report with pictures you like to share, please contact Gregg at webmaster@cwi.pca.org.
