We had a fantastic time at the Ladies Fall Drive on Saturday! A total of 8 cars and 14 wonderful women attended the event. We met at McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg and then took a beautiful drive through the WI countryside, taking in the magnificent pops of color that are starting to make their appearance.
Arriving at Munchkey Apple Orchard, the ladies were cheered on by a few onlookers as we all pulled into the driveway. The excitement of seeing a bunch of women driving Porsches got people clapping and whistling for us as we rolled in. It was pretty awesome!
After perusing the lovely gift shop and enjoying some of the tasty samples of apples, everyone loaded up and headed over to Linstroth Farms where we did some more shopping and got to see some of the most beautiful fall mums and pumpkins!
Leaving Linstroth’s, the ladies meandered over to Sugar River Pizza in New Glarus where a delicious lunch was had, along with many laughs and great conversation. Of course, we couldn’t forget to sing Happy Birthday to Karin, who was celebrating her special day with us. (we hope you had a great day, Karin!)
The CWI-PCA ladies are a group like no other! Many thanks to each and every one of you who came on the Fall Drive, and to those who couldn’t make it – we hope to see you next time!
And to you, Diana – Thank you for once again leading a drive that will never be forgotten!
Ladies… Start your engines!!
