What a great day. It was a bit overcast and a couple of raindrops hit the windshield, but that did not change our excitement.
Jeff Buck, our tour chair and club president held the driver’s meeting in the board room of the Middelton Airport. Gregg Eliott held the Safety Instructions for the tour.
We welcomed several members from the neighbouring regions to join the tour, thanks for coming out. Then we lined up for a car group photo on the tarmac by Dan Parker, a professional photographer (Now available here at no cost).
Jeff lead the group of over 30 cars on the tour. He picked some great winding back-country roads. We had a couple of washroom breaks on the way, stretch our legs and mingle with friends.
A couple of wrong turns did add to the fun experience. The final driving part was the Wild Cat Mountain Road, which we drove twice since Jeff realized the final stop, the Badgered Crossing Pub is the other way. I don’t believe anyone was upset about that last detour.
