Many Many thanks Jeff |
Beau Smith PCA-CWI Member since June 2022 Thank you for allowing board candidates to introduce ourselves. I joined this awesome club in June of 2022, and have enjoyed meeting some incredible people at our club’s many and varied events. The Porsche brand has been a love of mine since I saw a Koenig Special 911 in my pre-teen years. I currently drive a 2012 Panamera 4S. Some immediate goal as your President would be to grow current member participation of our monthly events while growing our overall membership in the Central Wisconsin area. Our mission should be to help our community in Central Wisconsin through our love of our cars and our tremendous ability as a club to effect change. When all of us are participating, there’s nothing we can’t do. Our brand states “Porsche there is no substitute”. When Central Wisconsin Porsche Club of America is mentioned, the first thought should be “CWI-PCA there is no substitute” for the goodwill we do for the community of Central Wisconsin and the love we have for our cars. Ferdinand Porsche once said “I couldn’t find the sports car of my dreams, so I built it myself” .Let us together build the club of our collective dreams. I humbly request the honor of being your PCA-CWI President for the next 2 years. Regards, Beau Smith |
David Cooper – Vice President Nominee
I have been a member of PCA for a couple decades, serving on the board at the RSP region of central Michigan and as social chair, before transferring to the CWI region in 2018. Currently I’m serving as CWI’s Secretary on the board. I have a business (Rennkit) that provides innovative parts to the Porsche community globally and is a sponsor of CWI-PCA. I enjoy taking my 996 Turbo track car to Road America as well as other tracks throughout the Midwest. My wife Norah and I always enjoy joining other members at Porsche and Kringles or in one of our other 3 turbos or GT4 on the various driving tours that CWI embarks on throughout the warmer weather season. PS: Norah’s grandmother’s maiden name was Porsche… Thanks, Dave
David Rolnick – Treasurer Nominee
My name is David Rolnick and my wife, Joyce, and I have been members of the Porsche Club of America since May 2018. We currently drive a 2015 Boxster (981). We have been active in Central Wisconsin PCA since we purchased our car in 2018. Joyce was the social co-chair for several years and I have been active in planning several tours along with Terry McGovern and Mike Grimm. I have placed my name in nomination for the treasurer position because I feel the club has given us a great deal of joy and I want to give back. We have made many friends and always look forward to getting together on rides, at meetings and at other events. Thank you for your support. David
Becky Johnson – Secretary Nominee
Becky L. Johnson CWI-PCA Associate Member since November 2022 Thank you for considering me for the position of Secretary of the CWI-PCA. I currently serve as the Social Chair for the CWI Region and would be honored to grow within the club as a Board member. Having come from a long line of car-loving family members, some of my fondest childhood memories are that of riding around in my dad’s cherry red 1965 Ford Mustang and attending the various car club activities that my parents participated in. It was during those years that I learned the true meaning of camaraderie (and fun!), and the importance of finding a “tribe” of like-minded people to spend time with. My most recent passion however has landed me in the driver’s seat of a 2019 Porsche 911 Turbo, affectionately named “Sophia.” Since becoming a member of the CWI-PCA, holding a chair position within the club and now having a Porsche of my own, I am truly blessed. The wonderful people I have met so far, coupled with all the amazing things our club is doing, solidifies my love and commitment to the Porsche brand. As your CWI-PCA Secretary, my primary goal will be to continue to build on the current foundation of integrity, passion, and adventure that we all share. I look forward to being a trusted resource for every member in our club; answering questions, sharing information, and continuing to grow our own PCA tribe. Thank you for your consideration. Kindest Regards, Becky
